The collar is created with beautifully hand dyed thick fluffy mohair in intense colors.
Neckline: Approx. 50 cm or larger, depending on how narrow you close the collar.
Width: Approx. 14 cm from neckline to shoulder
The intention of the Scrap Mohair Bubble Collar is to use the scraps from the small production of Sofie and Iris. But most of all the intention of this design is to bring out your smile and the smiles from those around you. Have fun expressing yourself freely!
The bubbles are created with scraps from my studio that compliments the beautiful multi-colored thick mohair. Every Bubble are created one by one and the colors are chosen intuitively in the process of creating and are tied together with knots.
My designs are created in my studio in Copenhagen. They are a result of experimenting with different knitting techniques, yarn qualities and a investigation of the relationship between colors and hues - and play!
Material: 78% kid mohair, 13% merino wool and 9% polyamide to hold the fluff in place. Hand dyed in Denmark.

This is a hand knitted design therefore irregularities will occur. This is valued highly and it is part of the expression.
Hand knitted designs are delicate and will give ease around your neck with time.
Colours are not easily presented correctly in a photo. The colours may vary slightly from what you experience here on the website.
Take good care of your collar and air it when possible. If you need to wash it, do it gently by hand in cold water with detergent for wool and delicate fabrics. Do not stretch when wet and dry flat in the shape of the design.
