Shipping
Hi guys, here's some info about shipping:
I'm such a small company that I use different shipping companies that suit your order best.
π¦ Shipping to the United States and Puerto Rico:
Dear U.S. customers,
From August 29, 2025, U.S. Customs has changed the import rules. All parcels sent from Denmark (and the EU) to the United States are now subject to customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees, no matter the value of the order.
What this means for you:
- When you place an order with us, we ship it securely with our trusted courier partners.
- Your parcel will go through U.S. Customs, and you may be asked to pay import duties, taxes, and a clearance fee before the courier delivers your order.
- The exact amount depends on your order value and U.S. customs classification rules. Unfortunately, we cannot calculate or control these charges in advance.
- Please note: Customs clearance may also cause extra delivery time, so your order may take a little longer than usual to arrive.
Who pays these charges?
At this time, shipments are sent Delivered at Place (DAP) — this means that the customer is responsible for any duties, taxes, and clearance fees charged by U.S. Customs.
Why this change?
Until now, small parcels under $800 were duty-free when imported into the U.S. This exemption (called the de minimis rule) has been removed by the U.S. government as of August 29, 2025.
Our promise to you
- We will always ship your order quickly, securely, and with full customs documentation.
- We will keep you updated on any future changes that may make the process easier.
- If you have any questions about shipping to the U.S., please reach out to us at [insert your email/contact form].
Thank you for supporting handmade, slow fashion from Denmark π
