Sofie and Iris (small) Big Drama Mohair Bubble Collar

The collar is created with 3 strands of beautifully hand dyed colors of thick fluffy mohair yarns and delicate thin threads of organic merino wool, silk and kid mohair.

It all started with the beautiful multi-colored thick mohair. I wanted to compliment this yarn with a thread of organic merino that wouldn't add too much of a contrast. I choose a dreamy soft blue with a medium valeur and little warmth to it combined with an airy thread of mohair and silk.
While I was creating it I decided to add the bubbles on the hem in order to really show the amazing colors of the thick mohair. What a beauty!

My designs are created in my studio in Copenhagen. They are a result of experimenting with different knitting techniques, yarn qualities and a investigation of the relationship between colors and hues - and play!

Material: 78% kid mohair, 13% merino wool and 9% polyamide to hold the fluff in place, organic merino wool and silk mohair. The 2 first yarns mentioned are hand dyed in Denmark.

This is a hand knitted design therefore irregularities will occur. This is valued highly and it is part of the expression.
Hand knitted designs are delicate and will give ease around your neck with time.

Colours are not easily presented correctly in a photo. The colours may vary slightly from what you experience here on the website.

Take good care of your collar and air it when possible. If you need to wash it, do it gently by hand in cold water with detergent for wool and delicate fabrics. Do not stretch when wet and dry flat in the shape of the design.
